Pressure gauge for RIB/PVC boat
This pressure gauge is equipped with a bayonet fitting
used on most inflatable boats/RIBs
and can measure the pressure either directly or during
inflation.
The required pressure for an inflatable boat/RIB
should be between 0.20 and 0.25 bar (approximately 3 to 3.6 PSI).
This depends on the temperature conditions
and any specific model. Always check the manual for your boat to be sure,
as the required pressure can vary by brand.
On warm days:
Inflate to a lower pressure
of approximately 0.20 bar (3 PSI).
In cold weather or normal conditions:
Inflate to 0.25 bar (3.6 PSI).
General guideline: check the manual
of the inflatable boat for the exact recommended pressure.
How hard and to what pressure should you inflate an inflatable boat/Rib?
is a frequently asked question, hence the explanation above.
How hard should your inflatable boat be inflated?
We recommend inflating the PVC/inflatable boat to an air pressure between 0.20 and 0.25
bar. If it gets too hard, release the pressure.
Better to have a slightly low pressure than too high.
