PVC Adhesives
3026 PVC Glue, Two-Part, 250ml Can.
A PVC adhesive for inflatable boats.
NOTE: For complete adhesion, a 2903-
solvent must be used before applying the adhesive.
Solvent-based polyurethane adhesive
provides excellent adhesion to both
plasticized and non-plasticized
PVC. Combined with
Hardener 3695, it bonds a wide range of surfaces, including PVC, nylon,
polyurethane, and foam.
Use for repairs to all PVC boats,
including "Dynalon" and "Strongon"
fabrics from Zodiac/Bombard and "Hypertex" from
Narwhal/Valiant. Easy to mix and
comes in two parts with exactly the right amount of hardener.
Can be used as a single-part adhesive
for quick, temporary repairs. Easy to apply
with a stiff, shortened brush.
Bands in 10-15 minutes,
fully cured after 48 hours.
Shelf life
– see date on unopened can. Once mixed,
it remains usable for 3-4 hours. When applying two coats,
1 liter is sufficient for 1 m².
Primer-solvent 2903 should be applied before
gluing as a primer for
maximum adhesion. Used by
liferaft maintenance departments and major
manufacturers.
